How to take the right photo for a face reading

Hold the camera at eye level about one metre away, face it straight on, use even light from the front, relax your face, and keep hair and glasses away from your features. Three photos are better than one.

Position

Keep the lens level with your eyes and your chin level. Photos from below distort the nose and chin, which are measured directly.

Stand about one metre from the camera. Very close phone photos exaggerate whatever is nearest to the lens.

Light

Face a window or a soft lamp. Avoid light from one side, since it hides half your features.

Expression

Relax your face with your mouth closed. Smiling changes your mouth, cheeks and eyes, so ROYA will ask you to retake it.
